Have been working on the dextrin pieces. They take longer than any other technique. The fabric needs to dry for several days before the dye goes on. Here are two different pieces.
Below is the dextrin. It has been too long since I've done this. The first piece I did was a disappointment. I didn't let the dextrin cool long enough and then I used too thin of a layer.
This is it after the dextrin has been applied.
This is what it looks like when you don't pay attention to the details. Bad results.

I know it's hard to see, but notice the nice pattern of cracking.
